Hey everybody there! It has been a few years since we visited your riad for the first time (do you still remeber us?), and unfortunately we haven’t made it yet a second time. But we just wanted to post you a message that we are watching the website regularly and are dreaming about our next visit. We have a son since december first, Clément he’s called, that was the main reason we couldn’t come to Marrakesh again
Pregnant women can’t fly 
I see that the changes are all finished in the riad, hope everything went well… Is Sonja the turtle still there?

We came to the Riad Noire d’ Ivoire with high expectations and were not disappointed. Gill your ‘personal touch ‘ and friendly approach made us feel so welcome..and Damien your efforts to find us good ‘foodie’ places were much appreciated.
The ambience created at the Riad Noire d’Ivoire is not only a reflection of the care and consideration you give to your guests but is also indicative of a happy staff who feel valued for the work they do . They ALL greeted us with a friendly smile but also offered discreet and efficienct service. They also spoke of how much they enjoyed working at the Riad…. that says a lot, to us, about the ethos and way the management team work with people….and importantly, not just the guests.
We hope to come back in the near future so please save my place on the sofa by the fire!!!

Dear Jill: a huge THANK YOU for everything that you did for us in Marrakesh! First and foremost your riad is simply paradise; a magnificent Fellini stage set of a riad but cozy and homely at the same time. Maybe too homely as my several children felt so relaxed that they really did treat it like home. The ‘common parts’ ( thought there was nothing common about them at all) were really beautiful as were each of our bedrooms, the service always charming, the snacks and various drinks delicious and our dinner on Tuesday is still talked about by the children with gusto and i do believe it was the best single meal that we had in Morocco.Our treatments were divine, i loved the hamman.And your gym was just great allowing me to run every morning. But it was all the recommendations that you gave that made the subtle difference between a really good and a truly great experience: the tadelac course, the camel riding, Mustafa’s treasure trove, the trip into the hills, the various shops like Attika and even the old guy who you pointed me in the direction of who secured me the 2 leather bags with the coins, the restaurants, the henna lady!!! I don’t think we could have physically packed in more…but it was all done smoothly and efficiently with no real sense of rush or panic; your organisation was superb- as was your taste in absolutely everything.Not even the ho hum February weather made the slightest impact on our experience.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your hospitality . We all feel like HOME AWAY FROM HOME at your unique beautiful riad . We miss the private dinners and exquisite food by your chef . My sons Charles from New York and Jonathan from London enjoy the swimming pool , the gymnasium , the massages and special hammam ! They love your staff who are always smiling and helpful AZIZ..MUSTAFA…NABIL ..etc.

Dear Jill, Damien and all of the wonderful staff of this BEAUTIFULL RIAD,
Missing home is an emotion which normally occurs when you’re far away from home. After returning to the Netherlands I became aware of a “reversed homesickness” meaning I already missed you guys, the superb accommodation and the breathtaking surroundings.
After passing the stylish wooden door there’s no escape possible. If there is a door to heaven, it should be this door. Entering this special passage my mindset automatically changed for the best. The combination of high level service, significant design details and a 7* staff made my stay to an unforgettable experience.
Special thanks to Laila who treasured me with the ultimate facial treatment. I can’t remember having felt more relaxed in my life.
I’ll definitely return and hopefully on a short term notice.

We wanted to say a huge thankyou as you really helped make our trip totally amazing!! nothing was too much trouble. The Riad is a stunning retreat away from the husstle and bustle of Marrakech which is right on you’re doorstep. We really enjoyed exploring the City with Damiens suggestions on what to see and where to eat, the massages were fab! not to mention having the luxury of having our breakfast on our own private rooftop terrace in the sun.. heaven!! We would like to thank you all for the warmth and the kindness you reserved to us. We landed in Marrakesh just a couple of hours after the bomb attack and, although security around the airport had been reinforced, we did not feel at any moment in danger or that the life around us had been somewhat changed by the event. In fact, the whole city was as beautiful and astonishing as expected. People in the souks or around the Medina very kind and friendly and even the main square (where the attack had taken place) full of people, tourists and merchants, all doing their businesses and enjoying the day.
Miriam and your staff are so nice and friendly, they let us feel as we were home! Every detail, every small request was never let down: all of them have done their best to make our family holiday really unforgettable.

Just a short message to thank you all so much for making our recent stay with you so fantastic. Your welcome and hospitality was second to none, you made us feel at home from the minute we arrived and very special with your thoughtfulness on our anniversary. Our room and roof terrace were beautiful and your recommendations for walks, sights, shopping and restaurants were all spot on.

We both came to Marrakech as 1st time visitors and Damien and Jill both ensured that it was to be a spectacular one. From the minute we were greeted by Mohammed (taxi driver) at the airport we knew we were in safe hands. We were then taken by 2 members of staff straight to the Riad and as we stepped into the Riad it completely blew us away – the decor, furnishings – beautiful is an understatement. It really is such a serene setting that will blow u away. When we arrived Jill and Damien greeted us and ensured that from beginning to the end of our holiday that our every need was looked after.
The trip to the Atlas Mountains was fabulous – Latifah our guide was amazing and she took us around a traditional Berber village and then we ate an evening meal at the Maroc Lodge which had amazing views of the mountains.
Our 1st experience of the Souks was frightening in such as im sure like most 1st time visitors we got lost!! but we made it and had an amazing time – the hustle and bustle of the markets are magical.
The food at the Riad was beautiful the breakfasts are sumptuous and left us feeling full til our evening meal. The cook (Latifa) wow – 1st rate cuisine.
Damien will only too gladly recommend and book you into some of the best traditional Moroccan restaurants.
The staff at the Riad were so friendly and helpful. We especially liked Ali for his caring approach
You must try a Hamam treatment -WOW – feels you feeling so relaxed.
We cant wait to visit again next year

As the days get darker in London, my fiancée and I reminisce about our stay at your exceptional Riad. Never before had we stayed somewhere with such an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere, where the hosts were so friendly as if old friends. Your establishment is truly a special place, particularly for us as we got engaged a few days before our stay with you, while out surfing in Imsouane. Thank you and we will be back!
Jill and Damien offered us an exquisite taste of Moroccan meets Paris experience during our honeymoon there. Elegance and a certain ambiance all over the riad, or should we say the petit palace, and a fantastic suite to make you feel welcome and luscious as well. They also arranged and booked dinners in the finest restaurants, short trips to the mountains via private chauffeurs or mid trip brunches in hidden cottages on mid Atlas. May seem excessive but they also provided us with our own cell phone with speed dial in case of emergencies or just for inquiries or simple change of dinner plans. (Kind of a vertu service in a absolute luxurious establishment).
The best choice in the medina is the contradictory terms of Noir D Ivoire.

Hi, everyone, we chose Riad Noird’ivoire as our honeymoon hotel in October 2011. Till now, when we think back, we feel that we left so much good memories there, and we enjoyed every minute of staying there!
We are so impressed by this riad! It is manifique! definitely! Everywhere you can find a lot of tastes in the interior designs, as well as glamours and beautiful decorations. There are antique or modern furniture and objects, and unique Moroccan decorations. Besides, it has very diversified structures inside (reading area, in-door garden with water pool in the centre, bar, swimming pool and SPA area…). After one day visiting in Marrakech, we even enjoyed more. Especially can not forget the relaxing time we had: taking some cocktails beside the swimming pool and listening to nice music under moon light. Great atmosphere!
Other things are fantastic also! We loved our room; everyday’s breakfast is healthy and tasty; people there are so nice, thanks to Arianne and Demien, they are perfect hosts, and all the staffs they are so friendly and helpful; and of course, jacuzzi on the roof top is cool! After all, it presented us an very exotic, beautiful and comfortable place to stay during our honey moon!
