  1. Dar Marjana: The Full Monty of all moroccan restaurants, just 5 minutes walk from the Riad. This family run establishment has it all: belly dancers, musicians, a tea-man and plenty of food, best you skip lunch before going here!(Medina)
  2. Grand Café de la Poste: Colonial Bistro style, restaurant, bar and lounge excellent for lunch and dinner.(New Town of Gueliz)
  3. Dar Moha: Refined Moroccan Cuisine, set menu and only a 5 minute walk from the Riad.(Medina)
  4. Bô & Zin: Hip’n'Chic atmosphere with Moroccan-Thai Fusion  Cuisine. A must for people watching.(Agdal, 15 minute drive out of the center)

Shopping:

  1. Atika: Excellent for shoes and other leather goods.(New Town of Gueliz)
  2. Mustapha Blaoui: Everything you will need for the home from lighting to bed linen. A 5 minute walk from the Riad with fresh mint tea waiting for you.(Medina)
  3. Place Vendôme: High quality leather goods from handbags to riding saddles.(New Town of Gueliz)

Excursions:

  1. Atlas Mountains: A day trip up in to the mountains. Visit traditional Berber villages and souks, meet up with a local guide for a trek up to see the waterfalls followed by lunch at a local restaurant by the river.
  2. Essaouira: A day trip to the coastal town of Essaouira. Take a stroll around this charming little town and have fresh fish for lunch in the port.
  3. The Desert: One or Two nights in the desert region of Merzouga. Leaving the Riad early in the morning too arrive in time for a camel ride into the dunes at sunset. Spend the night at a local lodge and bivouac and enjoy the local food and entertainment.
